Guest speaker Katherine Melton, MRH, MCHES, Community Prevention Coordinator for Johnson County Mental Health Center, will talk about Self Care in Post-Covid Times.
She will discuss the following:

Gain an understanding of what self-care is
Learn new strategies for applying self-care to everyday life
Learn about resources available

Katherine currently serves as a Community Prevention Coordinator for Johnson County Mental Health Center. She has eight years of experience working with communities around substance abuse, mental health promotion and suicide prevention; specifically within the education system and the community-at-large. She passionately provides a holistic, comprehensive, and evidence-based approach to her work in order to ensure best outcomes are achieved and sustained.
