Welcome to the Build Her Up™ Workshop! Join us on Sat, Jul 12, 2025 at 9:00 AM at Pitter Patter Carpentry for a fun and empowering event. This workshop is designed to inspire and empower women to learn new skills and gain confidence in carpentry.

The Build Her Up™ program is a hands-on workshop series designed to inspire and empower women and 10U girls (moms bring your boys too) with essential home maintenance and DIY skills. These engaging sessions build practical knowledge, confidence, and community—while highlighting the Professional Remodeling Collective’s mission to support excellence in the remodeling industry.

8:45 – 9:00 a.m. Welcome & CheckIn 
9:00 – 9:15 a.m. Opening Remarks – Welcome from the Professional Remodeling Collective – Build Her Up™ mission overview – Workshop safety & intro to basic tools 

9:15 – 10:00 a.m. DIY Fixes & Hanging with Confidence – Reading a tape measure, finding studs, using levels – Choosing anchors/screws – Practice hanging pictures and small fixtures 

10:00 – 11:15 a.m. Wall Shelf Installation – Guided shelf install using provided materials – Learn to locate studs, drill, and secure brackets – Takehome shelf or materials to install at home 

11:15 – 11:45 a.m. Tool Confidence Challenge & Build A Kit – Quickfire skill stations: measuring, drilling, anchor matching – “What’s in My Toolbox?” walkthrough – Build your own starter kit or receive a surprise donated toolbox 

11:45 – 12:00 p.m. Closing Celebration
